Who we are
The Elsass Foundation is a charity organisation that first and foremost supports individuals with cerebral palsy and their families. The Elsass Foundation was established by Miss Helene Elsass, who herself suffered from cerebral palsy. Her wish was to help people with cerebral palsy and other physical and mental disabilities. It is because of her sizable donation that the Elsass Foundation has become the research and scientific expertise centre it is today, as well as Denmark’s largest foundation, who supports people with cerebral palsy.
What we do
Embedded in all that we do and engage in at the Elsass Foundation is the aim to improve the lives and possibilities of people diagnosed with cerebral palsy and their families. Our work encompasses everything from carrying out scientific research, presenting new medical and psychological findings to contributing funds for institutions, associations and individuals related to cerebral palsy.
