At midday it is always important to have a nourishing, fulfilling meal – both for the sake of your body and your brain. By making sure that you have healthy, satisfying meals throughout the day you can avoid evening binges. At lunchtime a piece of dark wholegrain bread is a joy for your body and brain – and preferably bread containing flax seeds. And also remember fresh, raw vegetables such as carrots and radishes.
Furthermore, a lunch meal is the perfect opportunity for making sure that fatty fish e.g. salmon, mackerel or trout become part of your eating plan. Also, try to vary between having cold and hot meals for lunch – heating up a piece of fish, chicken or a meatball from last night’s dinner is a good idea. Variation creates stimulation.
