Detection via scanning

This project consists of a number of research projects. The aim of these research projects in the
coming years is to enhance our knowledge and expertise with a view to identifying brain injuries in
infants by using MRI scans - ahead of the establishment of a national MRI scan unit at BørneRiget
in 2025.

Who is behind the project?

The project group is composed of radiologists and paediatricians from research environments in
Denmark actively involved in early identification of brain injuries with the help of MRI scans and
Diffusion Tensor Imaging (DTI).
