On May 21st, 2025 The Elsass Foundation invites you to participate in an online scientific mini-symposium where international researchers will present the newest knowledge about early diagnosis and intervention of cerebral palsy.
The mini-symposium takes place prior to the award ceremony of the Elsass Foundation´s Research Prize 2025 where the award winner Professor Andrea Guzzetta will be the keynote speaker.
The theme of the mini-symposium is: Early identification and intervention for children with cerebral palsy.
Our international speakers will present a historical view of early diagnostic opportunities for children with CP and they will shed light on how new clinical research initiatives can push the barrier for early detection and intervention of CP with the effort of improving life quality for the child with a CP diagnosis and the primary care persons.
During the afternoon, you can follow the Elsass Foundation Research Prize Ceremony where Professor Andrea Guzzetta officially will be awarded the Research Prize 2025 for his invaluable work within pediatric neurology with a special focus on CP.
The prize will be awarded by Her Royal Heighness Princess Benedikte.

You can choose whether you want to participate online or onsite.
Be aware that we have a first-come-first-serve for physical participation due to space limitations (max 60 persons).
